The Ontario context

The contractor’s capacity problem.

Every Ontario kitchen GC we talk to is running into the same wall. Here’s what we hear most β€” and what partnering with us actually solves.

  • Shop rent is eating your margin.

A 3,000-sq-ft millwork space in rents for over $5k a month before machinery. Most kitchen GCs don't need a full shop β€” they need a manufacturing partner who already has one.

  • Skilled cabinetmakers are nearly impossible to hire.

If you've tried to staff a finishing booth in the last 24 months, you already know. Outsource the bench work to a shop that's been doing it for 25 years and keep your crew focused on site work.

  • On-site priming is a callback magnet.

Spraying primer in a basement or garage means dust nibs, slow cure, and a punch list at handover. Factory-primed doors land at the job site paint-ready β€” your finisher just sprays the top coat.

  • Kawarthas cottage projects need pickup, not freight.

When you're managing a Stoney Lake or Buckhorn reno from afar, the last thing you want is a freight carrier missing a delivery window. Pick up directly from our Warsaw hub on your way through.

Two ways to scale

Pick the partnership that fits how you actually run the job.

Some contractors source us for doors and components only. Others hand us the full Mozaik file and let us machine, finish, and prep the whole kitchen. Both tracks. Same shop.

Track 01

Bulk Components, Doors & Refacing

Custom-sized cabinet doors, drawer fronts, mouldings, end panels, and matched trim β€” for full new builds, refacing jobs, or replacing damaged fronts on an in-progress project.

  • Order raw, factory-primed, or fully finished
  • Sized to the 1/16β€³
  • 30+ door styles in 1-piece MDF
  • Premium Veneer (vacuum-pressed, grain-matched) for upper-tier kitchens
  • Factory-bored 35 mm hinge cups + alignment dowels on request
  • Lead times: ~2 weeks MDF Β· ~4 weeks Premium Veneer

Best for: GCs running a kitchen refresh, refacing existing boxes, or sourcing matched trim to a built-in.

Track 02

The Mozaik Design-to-Build Program

You sign up for a seat with our Mozaik account using our pre-loaded cabinet library β€” every part is mapped to our CNC. We machine, finish, and prep. You assemble and install. Your full margin on design + install stays with you.

  • Access to our Mozaik account + cabinet library
  • Library is connected directly to our shop's engineering department
  • Boxes, doors, drawer fronts, mouldings β€” all from one source
  • Choose flat-pack components or pre-assembled boxes
  • Factory finishing line β€” primed or fully painted, no on-site mess
  • Direct pickup at our Warsaw hub Β· no freight, no damage

Best for: Custom home builders, kitchen-focused GCs, and contractors ready to scale without renting shop space.

Featured partner Β· Peterborough

JBex Construction ships a kitchen without owning a CNC.

JBex designed this kitchen using our Mozaik library, sent us the file, and picked up the finished components at our Warsaw shop. No freight, no shop rent, no CNC payments β€” and the install crew was on site the same week.

Why partner with us

Built around contractor profitability.

Every dollar we save you on shop rent, machinery, and on-site labour is a dollar that stays on your invoice. That’s the whole pitch.

  • 01

    Your off-site CNC shop

Zero machinery overhead. No CNC payments, no spray booth, no dust collector. Outsource the cutting to our facility and keep your capex aimed at trucks and tools.

  • 02

    Zero shipping damage, direct pickup

Skip freight lines entirely. Pick up at our Warsaw hub β€” 25 minutes east of Peterborough, 2 hours from the GTA. Verify quality on the spot, load your van, and roll to site.

  • 03

    Flawless, paint-ready or fully finished

CNC precision means zero hours wasted sanding edges or filling routered ghosts on site. Available raw, primed or you can specify fully finished and your installer goes straight to hardware.

  • 04

You keep the full kitchen margin

You control design, assembly, install, and trim markup. We charge for manufacturing β€” nothing else. No retail middlemen, no design fee bundled in.

  • 05

    Made for Ontario timelines

Custom cabinet components have approxiamatly 6 weeks lead time for unfinished and 10 weeks for primed or painted. Quoted job-by-job, not from a posted rate card.

  • 06

    One pickup, one invoice

Doors, drawer fronts, boxes, mouldings, and end panels β€” manufactured under one roof. Skip the 4-vendor scheduling dance that kills kitchen install dates.

How the Mozaik program works

Design it in Mozaik. We build it. You install it.

Four steps from kickoff to install β€” $100/month software fee, no box-store middlemen, no surprise re-orders. The Mozaik library is mapped 1:1 to our CNC, so what you design is what gets manufactured.

  1. 01

    Get onboarded

We give your shop access to our Mozaik account and the cabinet library β€” pre-loaded with every box, door, and moulding profile we manufacture.

  2. 02

    Design the space

Lay out the kitchen in Mozaik using our exact manufacturing specs. The library handles every dimension and joint β€” you focus on the layout, not on engineering each cabinet from scratch.

  3. 03

    We cut & finish

Let us know when you are ready and we will review the file from the shared server. We CNC-machine boxes, doors, drawer fronts, and trim, then run them through our professional finishing line. Raw, primed, or fully painted β€” your call.

  4. 04

    Easy shop pickup

Swing by our Warsaw hub on your scheduled pickup day. Flat-pack or pre-assembled boxes, banded and ready. Load, assemble on site, install, profit.

Ready to see how Mozaik plugs into your workflow? We’ll walk through it on a 30-minute call β€” no commitment, no signup form.

Contractor FAQ

The questions every GC asks first.

Both. We manufacture in three finish stages: raw (you sand and finish on site), factory-primed (we apply a two-coat catalyzed sealer primer in our spray booth β€” your painter rolls colour direct), or fully finished (we apply your specified colour and clearcoat on our finishing line). Most contractor partners pick factory-primed for kitchens and fully-finished for vanities and built-ins.

Pickup is at our shop at 733 County Road 8, Warsaw (Douro), Ontario β€” 25 minutes east of Peterborough, roughly 2 hours from the eastern GTA. We band and protect every order for transport, so a one-truck pickup loads cleanly and arrives at the site undamaged. Call ahead to schedule a pickup window β€” most contractors come Friday afternoon for a Monday install. Cottage-country renos in Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, or Stoney Lake are 30 minutes north of us.

Call us at (705) 652-3520 or email orders@readytopaintcabinetdoors.com to apply for the Mozaik Design-to-Build program. We'll book a 30-minute onboarding call, give you login access to our Mozaik cabinet library, and walk through how to send the file once you've designed a job.

Door styles: 30+ in 1-piece MDF (paint-grade) or 5-piece solid wood β€” shaker, slim shaker, beaded, mitred, recessed, and slab. Premium Veneer doors use a vacuum-pressed real-wood veneer face with solid wood mitred frame β€” grain-matched across the kitchen if the order calls for it. Cabinet boxes: paint-grade MDF, melamine, or birch ply. We cut everything in-house on our CNC, so any size or configuration is on the table β€” including unusual specs like 24 5/8β€³ widths or angled toe-kicks.

Most of our trade partners are Eastern Ontario based β€” kitchen-focused GCs and custom builders in the Greater Toronto Area who pick up from our Warsaw hub on their way to or from a job. We also serve cottage renovators throughout the Kawarthas (Buckhorn, Stoney Lake, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Lakes), Peterborough proper, and increasingly Ottawa and Kingston builders. If you can drive to Warsaw, we can manufacture for you.

The trade application is a phone call

Call us. We’ll talk through your kitchen before you spec a single door.

30 minutes on the phone covers it: how you currently source doors, where the bottleneck is, whether bulk components or the Mozaik program is the right fit, and what the pickup logistics look like from your side of Ontario.
