Executive Summary

Spray-Net has mastered the mechanics of kitchen refinishing, but the success of the new Restyling Program depends on a reliable door supplier that can keep pace with Franchisees.

Ready to Paint Cabinet Doors is a cabinet making shop with over 25 years of experience and fully set up to be that supplier. We manufacture flat-panel and shaker doors in Ranger Board Platinum MDF, primed with Spray-Net's proprietary primer when you want it, and delivered to any franchisee anywhere in North America in two weeks for unfinished doors and 4 weeks for primed.

This proposal outlines exactly what the partnership looks like — day-to-day franchisee tools, product specs, fulfillment terms, our track record with Jason at Spray-Net Peterborough, door styles and a landed pricing table.

SECTION 1

The Franchisee Toolkit.

Everything a franchisee needs to sell, spec, measure, order, and install cabinet doors.

01

Spray-Net branded ordering module

We'll build a private ordering module on our platform, skinned in Spray-Net brand, that only shows the door styles and accessories Spray-Net Corporate has approved. Franchisees log in, see their approved catalog, get Spray-Net franchise pricing automatically, and check out with the payment terms we've agreed to.

For franchisees

Purpose-built ordering tool — no confusion, no wrong SKUs, faster order-to-install cycle.

For franchiser

Absolute brand + catalog control. Consistent pricing across every territory.

02

CabinetDoors.app — on-site measuring, pricing, ordering

Our free mobile-friendly app lets franchisees walk a kitchen, photograph every door, tap in measurements, and get an on-the-spot quote — right at the kitchen table. We will also prepare a Spray-Net branded version for the franchisees to use that keep within the approved guardrails. When the customer says yes, the franchisee places the order through the Spray-Net module without ever leaving the driveway.

For franchisees

Close deals in a single visit. No scribbles to decipher on a piece of paper back at the office. Every quote is exact — no surprise re-orders.

For franchiser

Branded solution for on site measuring of doors, drawer fronts and panels. Faster close rate on kitchens. Better franchisee satisfaction with the supply chain.

03

Ordering process — order the way that works

Every franchisee orders the way they like. Same catalog, same Spray-Net franchise pricing, same lead time — no matter which channel the order arrives through. Every route lands in the same Order Review workflow before we cut.

CabinetDoors.app

Photograph the doors in the customer's kitchen, enter measurements and submit the order on the spot.

Branded website module

Sit at a laptop with the customer's list, log into the Spray-Net portal, build the order, check out with the agreed payment terms.

Email us the list

Send door sizes and counts to the shop and Brad, Rob or Pamela will build the order on the franchisee's behalf and return an Order Review for sign-off.

04

Sample binder — 5 doors + spec sheets

A physical sample binder shipped to every franchisee, in Spray-Net branding: five door samples of the most popular styles, spec sheets for every door style + configuration option, and a hardware section covering all the soft-close hinge options.

For franchisees

Tangible sales tool. Customers see the actual product and details.

For franchiser

Consistent in-home presentation across every franchisee. Marketing quality that reflects the Spray-Net brand.

05

Cabinet expertise, on call

Our shop has 25 years of custom cabinet-making experience. Any franchisee working through a tricky kitchen — angled corners, tight island end panels, an odd 45° blind corner — can call or email the shop and get a real answers from Brad, Rob or Pamela directly.

For franchisees

Access to a senior cabinet-maker whenever they need one. Confidence to quote work that's outside their comfort zone.

For franchiser

Franchisees convert on complex jobs they'd otherwise walk away from. Fewer support escalations back to corporate.

06

Measuring + re-install guides — supplied

Sales binder includes measuring guides and re-installation tips and tricks. Passing along our experience to make it a seamless install for the Franchisees.

For franchisees

Better customer experience post-install. Fewer callback visits.

For franchiser

Makes the Franchisees look more professional while measuring and installing doors.

SECTION 2

The Product Itself.

What sets our doors apart — and why they take Spray-Net's proprietary finish beautifully.

01

Rangerboard Platinum MDF — the reason our doors don't telegraph

Every part is cut from Ranger Board Platinum, a premium high-density fibreboard engineered specifically for painted architectural millwork. It's denser than standard MDF (770+ kg/m³ vs. ~650), grain-free by construction, and dimensionally stable across humidity swings — meaning it doesn't grow, shrink, or telegraph joint lines through the topcoat after install. When Spray-Net's proprietary coating cures on Ranger Board Platinum, you get the factory-like finish that's core to the Spray-Net brand promise. We can use Trupan MR or Roseburg MR if required.

Premium HDF · 770+ kg/m³ · grain-free · dimensionally stable

02

One-piece MDF doors — why we recommend them over 5-piece

5-piece doors (stile-and-rail construction) have visible joint lines that telegraph through paint over time as wood movement pulls the joints apart. Our one-piece MDF doors — CNC-shaped from a single blank — have zero joints on the visible face. The result: a paint finish that stays board-flat and joint-line-free for decades, not months. This is why the Spray-Net finish stays looking factory-new on our doors.

No stile-rail joints · no telegraphing · CNC-shaped from one blank

03

Priming — with Spray-Net's proprietary primer

We're set up to prime any franchisee's order with Spray-Net's proprietary primer — applied under controlled shop conditions, on freshly-sanded doors, cured to spec. Delivered ready for a top coat.

Optional shop-applied priming · Spray-Net primer · shop-controlled cure

04

Matching existing style — repair + replace

When a Spray-Net customer has a damaged door in an otherwise-fine kitchen (a common repair-refinish scenario), we can match the existing door style and reproduce a single door — or a set — with the same profile, thickness, and edge detail. Franchisees don't have to steer the customer into a full-kitchen re-do just because we couldn't match one door.

Custom profile matching · single-door manufacturing · repair jobs supported

05

Hardware — full soft-close hinge program

We stock and supply Blum European style soft-close hinges in every configuration Spray-Net franchisees actually need in the field: standard 110° overlay, blind corner, bifold, and 45° corner. Hinges are shipped with the doors, cup-holes CNC-drilled to ±0.4 mm, ready to install. Franchisees don't need a separate hardware supplier.

Soft-close 110° · Blind corner · Bifold · 45° corner · CNC-drilled

SECTION 3

SECTION 4

Pricing.

Special pricing set up for the Spray-Net franchise network — every rate below is landed pricing and includes order set up, packaging, shipping and handling to the franchisee's location. One clean number per square foot with a few exceptions.

Shipping is included.

Every price in the tables below is what lands on the franchisee's doorstep — packaging, shipping, and handling are already baked into the Spray-Net rate. With our years of experience shipping doors we know the process well; the rate is fair to us and fair to the franchisee.

US duties and tariffs (approximately 25% of declared value) apply at customs and are paid to the franchisee's broker at import — not billed by Ready to Paint. Because we invoice in CAD, the current CAD/USD spread (≈ 1.37) offsets a significant portion of that exposure.

Exception #1 - Order setup - small orders

$65 flat

A $65 setup fee applies to orders under $450. Covers file setup and Order Review preparation — the drawings-approval package sent back for franchisee sign-off before we cut. Orders > $450: no setup fee.

Exception #2 - Oversized doors - quoted individually

> 60″ tall

Shipping for doors taller than 60″ are quoted on a per-order basis. Larger panels don't fit the packaging and freight assumption baked into the standard Spray-Net rate — quoting these individually keeps pricing fair to the franchisee and to us.

SECTION 5

How we deliver.

01

2-week standard delivery

Ready to ship in under two weeks for sanded MDF doors. 3 to 4 weeks for primed doors.

02

Order review — drawings for approval before we cut

Every order gets an Order Review with drawings of all the parts that we send back to the franchisee for approval before a single piece of MDF hits the CNC. Wrong sizes, mis-selected hinges, forgotten false fronts — all caught at the drawing stage, not at delivery. This is the single biggest reason our re-order rate is under 1%.

03

Delivery across North America

We ship to every Spray-Net territory in Canada and the United States. Coordinated by our shipping team, priced into the order upfront, tracked door-to-door. Franchisees don't have to shop carriers or negotiate LTL freight for every job.

SECTION 6

Track record + capacity.

Case study — active supply relationship

Case study — Jason at Spray-Net Peterborough

We've been supplying doors and other components to Jason and the Peterborough Spray-Net crew for multiple projects. More then just doors and drawer fronts, we have supplied extra cabinets, drawer boxes and trim. Photos and full project details are on our public Refinishers page.

25 years of custom cabinet making

Varcroft & Bianco has been building custom kitchens for 25 years. Ready to Paint Cabinet Doors is the door-supply spinoff — same shop floor, same cabinet-maker judgment, same eye for detail. When a franchisee needs a call about a weird angled corner, they're getting a real answer from someone who's built that corner a hundred times.

We have the capacity — and we're scaling.

We're currently running below capacity and ready to onboard the Spray-Net network and meet the demand. By end of year 2026, we'll have a robotic sanding cell in production — tightening consistency across every order, and unlocking meaningfully more output. Growth into the Spray-Net franchise system is what we are set up for.

Current capacity: available nowRobotic sanding cell: online Q4 2026Committed to Spray-Net growth curve
Program roadmap

Future offerings — the program can grow with the franchisees.

The cabinet door program is the anchor, but the same shop, the same 2-week clock, and the same branded ordering module can carry more line items over time — as it makes sense for the network. Not every franchisee will want to sell these, but for the crews with the skill set (or the interest) it's another item on the same invoice, sourced from one supplier.

  • Interior trim + light valances

Crown, base, light rails, matching filler strips, under-cabinet light valances — cut in the same finish family as the doors, ready for spray.

  • Cabinet boxes + drawer organizers

Turning cabinets with doors into drawers by adding drawer boxes to lower cabinets. Custom-sized cutlery inserts, pull-out organizers — the up-sell inside the kitchen that turns a refinish into a fully-outfitted kitchen upgrade.

  • Extra cabinet boxes

For kitchens where a small new run makes sense alongside the refinish — an island extension, a pantry column, a new lower run — we can build the boxes to match, in the same wood and finish schedule.

Corporate opts into which categories move into the branded module and when. Franchisees who want to stay door-only stay door-only. The ones who want to grow have a pipeline to grow into — sourced from a single shop.

SECTION 7

Warranty + remakes.

The commitments that make Spray-Net franchisees confident quoting our doors — and confident the job will finish clean, even when something goes sideways.

01

Defective or damaged doors — replaced.

If a door arrives broken, cracked, chipped, warped past tolerance, or with any manufacturing defect, we replace it. No paperwork, no back-and-forth. Send a photo, we cut a new door, we ship it. The franchisee doesn't eat the cost, and Spray-Net Corporate doesn't get a call.

Manufacturing defect · No charge · Fast turnaround

02

Our error on size — replaced.

If we cut a door to the wrong size — any deviation from what was signed off at the drawings-approval stage — that's on us. We remake it and ship it at our cost. This is the entire reason we send drawings for approval before we cut: to catch it there. But if something slips past both of us and it's traceable to our shop, we own it.

Our mistake · No charge · Priority remake

03

Franchisee ordered the wrong size — priority remake at cost.

If the franchisee measures wrong, or the size on the order was wrong at approval, we can't remake it for free — but we treat it like a priority job. We cut and ship a paid replacement as fast as we can turn it around, usually inside a week from the moment we have the corrected measurements. Franchisees don't get parked behind the standard 2-week queue when they're standing in a customer's kitchen missing a door.

Customer error · Paid replacement · Priority queue · ~1 week

04

Homeowner promise — normal-use failures replaced.

This one is for the end customer. If, after painting and installation, a door deteriorates or breaks under normal daily use — not abuse, not accidental damage, but a genuine failure of the door itself — we'll replace it. Best practice for the homeowner: take photos of the issue as soon as it's noticed and jot a quick note about the date and cabinet location. Send those through, we cut a new door, we ship it. The franchisee paints it and reinstalls.

Homeowner-facing · Normal-use failure · Photo-documented · Replaced

Net effect for the franchisee: no order ever leaves them stranded. Either we fix it at our expense, or we fix it fast on theirs.
